Kadokawa announced today at their Natsu no Gakuensai 2022 light novel event that a second season of The Detective is Already Dead TV anime is in production. Alongside the reveal, a teaser trailer was released alongside two teaser visuals and a bunch of illustrations from those that work on the various manga spin-offs of the franchise.
In order of illustrators; Mugiko, poni and Moyashi Ime.

The first season of The Detective is Already Dead TV anime was directed by Manabu Kurihara (Bleach, Tokyo Ghoul episode animation director), with series composition from Deko Akao (Noragami, My Roommate is a Cat) at anime studio ENGI. The series aired from July 4, 2021, to September 19, 2021. Crunchyroll is currently streaming the series, describing it as such:
Thwarting a hijacking with the beautiful, silver-haired detective, Siesta, transforms Kimihiko’s young life. Their success kicks off years of crime-solving and confronting syndicates around the world—until Siesta dies. Left with questions, Kimihiko moves on. But now, a new case may open healed wounds as it connects to an assassin, a world conspiracy, and his dead partner!
