My Hero Academia Deku VA Daiki Yamashita Tests Positive for COVID-19

 

 

Voice actor agency Arts Vision announced on July 29 that voice actor Daiki Yamashita (Izuku "Deku" Midoriya in My Hero Academia) and Lynn (Maruzensky in Umamusume Pretty Derby) were tested positive for COVID-19.

According to the announcement, Yamashita showed symptoms of fever on July 28, and antigen test and PCR test were conducted on the same day. The antigen test was negative, but the PCR test was confirmed positive on July 29. He is currently undergoing treatment at home in accordance with the instructions of the health center and the doctor.

 

Meanwhile, Lynn was appearing on a live-streaming program for the summer 2022 TV anime Engage Kiss in which she has voiced one of its main character, Ayano Yugiri, on July 29. But in the middle of the program, she was found to be positive for COVID-19 according to the results of the PCR test she took a few days ago and forced to leave the program in a hurry. The antigen test before the broadcast was negative and she was not feeling ill.
