Aimer's Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc OP Theme Surpasses 200 Million Streams

 

 

The song's worldwide popularity has yet to wane. SACRA MUSIC confirmed today that Aimer's 20th single song "Zankyo Sanka" (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc opening theme) had surpassed 200 million streams in 31 weeks since its release on December 6, 2021. It is the first time in her career to reach the milestone. And as a solo female artist, she is the second fastest to reach the record of 200 million streams, following LiSA.

 

In the latest Oricon weekly streaming ranking announced on July 13, the song ranked 11th with 4,014,091 weekly streams, and the cumulative number of streams finally reached 200,414,061. As reported, it surpassed the 100 million mark in March, which means the song has been listened another 100 million times in just four months.

 

The song remained at No. 1 in Oricon weekly streaming ranking for a total of eight weeks, and has been in the top 20 for 31 consecutive weeks from its first appearance to the ranking.
