Sword Boys Face The Greatest Crisis in Toku Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru ~Setsugetsuka~ 3rd Chapter Trailer

 

 

The official website for the Toku Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru ~Setsugetsuka~ trilogy anime film project has posted a poster visual and an 80-second full trailer for its third chapter "Hana no Maki" (Chapter Flower). Along with the tagline "May our Honmaru be Hanamaru from now on and forever," the clip features the third chapter's theme song "Ouka no Tayori" (Letter of Cherry Blossom).

Following the first chapter "Yuki no Maki" (Chapter Snow) in May and the second chapter "Tsuki no Maki" (Chapter Moon) in July, the third chapter "Hana no Maki" directed by Sumie Noro (Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle assistant director) will be screened for a limited time of three weeks from September 1.  

 

 

Synopsis:

 

One day, Saniwa suddenly collapsed. Despite the worried sword boys, Saniwa does not seem to wake up at all. Meanwhile, the time-space transfer device stopped working when Saniwa collapsed, and the three units that had gone out on an expedition were unable to return. Without being able to contact their Honmaru and without knowing when they will return, the 18 sword boys are forced to stay in the Heian Period, Sengoku Period, and Edo Period, respectively.

 

Meanwhile, it is found out at one of the Honmaru that the reason for Saniwa's collapse was apparently the Tamahagane brought back by a unit that had gone to another era. However, it remains unclear how Saniwa can regain consciousness... While the sword boys are puzzled, Kashuu Kiyomitsu, one of the first sword boys in the Honmaru, is told by the Kudagitsune, Kon-no-Suke, that he must open Saniwa's mind in the world of "dreams" to wake him up. Kashuu Kiyomitsu and his partner Yamatonokami Yasusada decide to go into the unknown world.
