The pre-order only limited-edition of the forthcoming 23rd volume of Satoru Noda's action-adventure Golden Kamuy will come with a new OAD (Original Anime Disc) based on the manga's "Shiton Animal Chronicles" episode featuring Shiton Anehata (CV: Hideyuki Hori). A 15-second CM for the "forbidden" story is now streamed on YouTube.
This is the fourth time that the manga's tankobon volume has been released with an original anime episode. And of course the Golden Kamuy TV anime's production company Geno Studio works on anime production of the 23-minute new episode.,
Pre-order for the 3,600-yen limited edition will be accepted until July 14, 2020, then both the 540-yen standard edition and the limited edition will be released in Japan on September 18.
Synopsis:
Animals have been brutally killed around the Ainu's Kotan area. Shiton Anehata, who is suspected as the criminal, is a scholar and one of the escaped prisoners with tattoos. However, Tanigaki, whose Murata rifle was stolen by Anehata, is mistaken for the criminal and arrested. The Ainu side demands that Sugimoto, who tries to resolve the misunderstanding, bring the real culprit within three days. According to Tanigaki, Anehata has shown a strong interest in brown bears. Can Sugimoto save Tanigaki and bring the tattoo back before Anehata gets eaten by brown bears?
