Three months after the 60-second teaser, a five-minute full version anime music video for "Crescent rise," the third single from the IDOLiSH7 smartphone game franchise's three-member male idol unit TRIGGER, produced by Tokyo-based animation studio TRIGGER (Kill la Kill, Little Witch Academia), is finally streamed on the game's official YouTube channel. The two TRIGGER's collaboration project was originally announced back in September 2018.
The idol unit TRIGGER consists of Gaku Yaotome (CV: Wataru Hatano), Tenn Kujo (Souma Saito), and Ryunosuke Tsunashi (Takuya Sato). Their first full album "REGALITY" was released in September 2017 and sold an impressive 32,000 copies in its first week, becoming the first weekly No.1 album featuring a male character group in the history of the Oricon sales charts.
Their third single "Crescent rise" is set to be released in Japan tomorrow, January 29, 2020. The song is featured as the theme song for the in-game musical "Crescent Wolf," which is a remake of "Mikazuki Ookami" played by actor Shizuo Chiba. And the MV introduces scenes from the remake musical and the three members' dance performance.
