Eiichiro Oda to Oversee Netflix's Live-Action One Piece Series

Big news just came out of the previously-revealed live-action One Piece project. Original manga author Eiichiro Oda revealed that he will be overseeing the production, which will start with a 10-episode first season with Steven Maeda (Lost, The X-Files) as showrunner/executive producer.

Matt Owens (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Luke Cage) is serving as writer/executive producer on the co-production between Netflix and Tomorrow Studios. Netflix will handle the physical production of the show.
