THE iDOLM@STER Shiny Colors Game Gets TV Anime in Spring 2024

 

A new iDOLM@STER saga is about to begin!

 

THE iDOLM@STER Shiny Colors, which launched for the enza browser game platform in 2018 and iOS and Android the following year, will be getting the anime treatment next year. The announcement was made this weekend, during day 2 of the Shiny Colors 5th live concern, "If I_wings."

 

In honor of the occasion, a key visual of series star Mano Sakuragi was revealed, as well as a teaser:

The 16 lead voice actresses from the game's four main units have been confirmed to be returning for the anime adaptation:

Mankyū (THE iDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS TheaterThe Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague) is set to direct the series for Polygon Pictures, with Bandai Namco Entertainment handling planning and production. Yoichi Kato (THE iDOLM@STER Million Live, Aikatsu!) is in charge of series composition and screenplay.

 

Prior to the TV premiere, the series is set for a theatrical run starting October 27. The 12-episode run will be divided into three chapters, each with a three-week limited run in 75 theaters across Japan.

 

THE iDOLM@STER Shiny Colors is set to premiere on TV in spring 2024.
