The Forger family will go on a double mission at the end of the year with the SPY x FAMILY TV anime's second season set to premiere in October 2023 and the original anime film, SPY x FAMILY CODE: White, on December 22, 2023. At the SPY x FAMILY stage today at AnimeJapan 2023, the first details on the newly named SPY x FAMILY CODE: White anime film was revealed including a new visual and logo.

Kazuhiro Furuhashi (Dororo) directs the SPY x FAMILY TV anime series at both WIT Studio and CloverWorks, with character designs by Kazuaki Shimada (The Promised Neverland) and music produced by [K]NoW_NAME (Dorohedoro). Crunchyroll streamed the first season of the anime as it airs in Japan, and describes the series as such:
World peace is at stake and secret agent Twilight must undergo his most difficult mission yet—pretend to be a family man. Posing as a loving husband and father, he’ll infiltrate an elite school to get close to a high-profile politician. He has the perfect cover, except his wife’s a deadly assassin and neither knows each other’s identity. But someone does, his adopted daughter who’s a telepath!
