Soccer Anime Aoashi Streams A Live-action Short Story about A Son and His Mother

To promote the forthcoming premiere of the TV anime adaptation of Yugo Kobayashi's soccer-themed manga Aoashi, an 11-episode live-action short story collection entitled "Shigatsu no Kick Off (Kick Off in April)" is now streamed on BIG COMICS' official YouTube channel. Takashi Koyama (colorless) served as the director.

The story focuses on a boy who is invited to join a youth team in Tokyo. He spends his days until he moves to Tokyo with his mother, best friend, and childhood friends as usual. However, as the day of separation approaches, both the boy and the people around him realize their own feelings that they hold for the first time... The tagline is: "If it weren't for soccer, I wouldn't know these feelings."
