Western Release of Persona 5 Scramble Teased by Koei Tecmo

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers

Usually, quarterly earning reports from Japanese companies aren't all that interesting – it's the yearly ones that have all the juicy news. But Koei Tecmo's first-quarter report left a little tease for treasure hunters ... that Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers will be getting a release in America and Europe. Though when that'll be, we'll have to ride the subway train deeper into the metaverse to find out.

The earnings report from Koei Tecmo, who developed Persona 5 Scramble alongside P-Studio and Altus as an action RPG sequel to Persona 5, outlines upcoming releases from the developer, including a western Persona 5 Scramble release, clearly referring to Europe and America in a broad sense. Scramble has already seen a release in other Asian markets, which is marked on page 5 of the report.

While no date is given in the report, it does state that the game will be coming to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in the west, just as it did in Japan when it was released on February 20 earlier this year. Time to start saving for that limited edition Treasure Box set it seems!
