Cast Gathers in New Key Visual for YU-NO TV Anime

 

A new key visual (above) and the theme song performers have been revealed for YU-NO: A Girl Who Cries Love at the Bound of this World, an upcoming TV anime based on the visual novels by ELF corporation and 5pb. about an orphaned young man who explores parallel realities with the aid of a mysterious device.

 

The OP theme for YU-NO, entitled "Kono yo no hate de koi o utau shoujo" ("A Girl Who Cries Love at the Bound of This World"), is performed by Asaka. The ending theme, entitled "Shinri no kagami, ken no you ni" ("A Mirror of Truth, Appearing as a Sword"), is performed by Konomi Suzuki.

The story follows Takuya Arima, a young man who lost his mother when he was a small child and who recently lost his father to an accident. One day, Takuya receives a package containing a mysterious, mirror-like object and a letter that implies that Takuya's father is still alive and that instructs Takuya to bring the object to Mt. Sankaku at 10PM that evening. When Takuya follows the instructions, he runs into a mysterious woman, his school principal, and a strange transfer student, and the group is swallowed in a flash of light, beginning an adventure across parallel realities.

 

 

YU-NO: A Girl Who Cries Love at the Bound of this World will begin broadcasting in Japan in April of 2019.
