Back in January, Sonic the Hedgehog fans were hit with the news that longtime Sonic voice actor Roger Craig Smith would be leaving the role. The actor relayed the news himself with a broken blue heart, expressing gratitude for the 10-year run and leaving everyone else with uncertainty regarding who would fill those iconic shoes.
Even the official Sonic the Hedgehog account followed up with a tweet thanking Smith for all his hard work, but it turns out this story isn't over yet. While no specific titles have been mentioned, the voice actor hopped back on Twitter to announce that he's officially back voicing Sonic the Hedgehog in games.
I can't fully express my gratitude for the @sonic_hedgehog crew and community.????

We'll have to stay tuned to find out what's next for Roger Craig Smith's extended career as the Blue Blur. Heck, we might find out tomorrow!
