More god candidates and their partner angels got their voice actors announced tonight, filling out more of the Platinum End TV anime cast of characters. The series, which is adapting the manga of the same name by Death Note creators Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, is scheduled to air this fall on Japanese TV.
Joining the cast are:
Kaito Ishikawa (Tenya Iida in My Hero Academia) will be voice Kanade Uryu
Kikuko Inoue (Kasumi Tendo in Ranma ½)will be voicing Meyza
Tomoaki Maeno (Veldora Tempest in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime) will be voicing Hajime Sokotani
Hikaru Midorikawa (Best Jeanist in My Hero Academia) will be voicing Balta
Platinum End finished its serialization in Shueisha's Jump Square magazine in January 2021. The series is being released in English by Viz Media, with 12 volumes currently out. Viz Media describes the series as such:
Just when it looked like the god candidates might come to an agreement, one of them is suddenly assassinated. Now Professor Yoneda seems to be in control of the entire god selection process. Will the remaining candidates yield to Yoneda’s desire to rid humanity of fake gods, or does Mirai have a different plan in mind…?

The TV anime for Platinum End is scheduled to premiere in fall 2021 on TBS in Japan. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind director Hideya Takahashi is leading the series at anime studio Signal.MD.
