Voice Actor Soma Saito Shows Off His New Artist Style in Music Video "Petrichor"

  

 

The official YouTube channel for voice actor Soma Saito has posted a two-minute music video for his latest digital single song "Petrichor," which is available on major digital music stores from today. The song is the first part of his second artist project "in bloom," whose themes are "The changes in the seasons" and "Beyond the end of the world."

 

As an anime voice actor, he is best known as Tatsumi in Akame ga Kill! (2014), Tadashi Yamaguchi in Haikyu!! (2014-), Adlet Mayer in Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers (2015), Hermes in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? (2015-), Haruta Kamijo in Haruchika (2016), and Sho Utsumi in SSSS.Gridman (2018). He made his solo singer debut as the first artist from SACRA MUSIC in June 2017 and has released three singles, one album, and one EP.

 

His new song "Petrichor" is written and composed by himself. Its music video depicts various worlds in the rain, which give us a glimpse of the two themes linked to the real world of today. His unique lyrical world is still the same in this song, and the content of the lyrics evokes many different interpretations for the listeners.
