Marvelous announced today that the first drama CD "Choukon Sairin" (Super Soul Second Coming) from Bakumatsu Rock Hollow Soul, the newest sequel of the Bakumatu Rock mixed-media franchise, is set to be released on October 28, 2020.
In addition to a newly-recorded drama, the CD will also include a new song "CAME BACK" performed by the five-member unit Ultra Souls, consisting of Kisho Taniyama (Ryoma Sakamoto), Tatsuhisa Suzuki (Shinsaku Takasugi), Showtaro Morikubo (Kogoro Katsura), Toshiyuki Morikawa (Toshizou Hijikata), and Kensho Ono (Souji Okita).
Then, the second drama CD "Chaos Legion" will be available on December 25, 2020. The CD will come with another new song by Ultra Souls, "harmonize."

A manga series Bakumatsu Rock Hollow Soul illustrated by Akira Kazukiya has been serialized on the Comic Polca website.
The TV anime series Samurai Jam-Bakumatsu Rock was aired for 12 episodes from July to September 2014, and all the episodes are available on Crunchyroll.
