Fate/stay night [Heaven's Feel] iii.spring song Anime Film Finishes The War on August 15

 Fate/stay night [Heaven's Feel] iii.spring song

At long last, the third and final film of the Fate/stay night [Heaven's Feel] trilogy of anime films, Fate/stay night [Heaven's Feel] iii.spring song, will finally be released in Japanese cinemas on August 15. The anime film was scheduled to be released in March but was the first film to be delayed in Japan due to the closing of cinemas due to the effects of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Tokyo, just two days before release.

A new trailer was released to commemorate the news (currently region-locked – will be updated when a non-geo-locked version is uploaded):

Fate/stay night [Heaven's Feel] iii.spring song was first delayed from its original March 28 release date to April 25 when Yuriko Koike, the governor of Tokyo, requested people to stay home on weekends, and for entertainment businesses to close, such as movie theaters.

Stricter measures came into force when the national government declared a State of Emergency, and due to that, Fate/stay night [Heaven's Feel] iii.spring song was again postponed, this time to an undetermined date. As cinemas and other businesses are re-opening in the country, new films are able to be released, even though the capital region still saw over 50 new cases of coronavirus today.

Fate/stay night [Heaven's Feel] iii.spring song has also delayed its screenings in North America due to the closure of cinemas in the region and the ongoing effects of the coronavirus. No new date has been set for screenings.
