During last week's New Game+ Expo event, Inti Creates and Koji Igarashi announced Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2, which is a followup to the NES-style prequel to Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. Another update came through during Bitsummit Gaiden, lining the sequel up for a July 10 launch on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
In addition to the date, the new trailer reveals that Miriam, Alfred, and Gebel from the first game will be playable again alongside Zangetsu and the three newcomers, Dominique, Robert, and Hachi. Like the original, Curse of the Moon 2 was designed for multiple playthroughs, and Igarashi says there's two-player local co-op and around double the amount of plot.
