In order to provide some examples, I interviewed several of our Crunchyroll Staff to provide some inspiration as y'all being planning your wishlists!

First up, I interviewed Justin Lasola, our Games Social Strategist and fan boy extraordinaire!

What's on your wishlist and why?

Wishlist campaign

Justin: I have an agenda to buy any Yu-Gi-Oh! merch that comes into the Crunchyroll Store to encourage them to get more Yu-Gi-Oh! merch. Eventually, we’ll get cards on the store and I’ll never pay full price for a pack of cards ever again.

Aqua is just my absolute best girl. She’s me but as a blue-haired goddess. She learns skills to look cool at parties, drinks a lot, cries a lot, largely useless but comes in clutch when she needs to - all things that also describe me. I think at this point I should just join her cult and make a shrine?

So naturally, one of the first things I ever got from the Crunchyroll Store was a pack of Aqua card sleeves that I use for my Extra Deck in Yu-Gi-Oh! When the Aqua game mat came to the store I just KNEW I had to get it to go with my mat.

Hestia bunny suit is Hestia in a bunny suit. Nuff said.

What's stopping you from getting them?

Justin: My girlfriend will kill me if I bring that naked ribbon Aqua figure into our apartment.

As for Hestia, I’m looking for someone to make a suicide pact with me. I’ll get Hestia if you get Ais! Hit me up if you’re interested!!!

When do you think you'll be able to?

Justin: See, since this article is going out I’m hoping some friends see it and pick this stuff up for me so I don’t have to!

Next up, I interviewed, Reyna Olegario, our International Social Strategist and figure collecting queen.

What's on your wishlist and why?

           Reyna's Wishlist

Reyna: The Spike & Faye figure has been on my wishlist for so long, but the figure is a real commitment: it deserves its' own shelf in a display case, and I don't think I have the room for that right now.

(See below photo for reference of the current state of Reyna's display case)

Reyna's Wishlist

What's stopping you from getting them?

Reyna: The only thing keeping me from buying the Anti-Isekai Isekai Club hoodie is it being sold out. Thanks, guys.

When do you think you'll be able to?

Reyna: When it comes back in stock...

And finally, I interviewed Andrea Ramirez, our Title Marketing Strategist for her spicy take.

What's on your wishlist and why?

Drea Wishlist

Andrea: As a huge horror enthusiast and local goth, Junji Ito clothing is slowly taking over my closet and to some, it may look like my sanity is spiraling. Junji Ito is a really amazing creator who writes some of the creepiest stories I’ve read since my childhood fascination with Scary Stories to Read in the Dark. Naturally, I need to represent his work whether I’m at a coffee shop, at home, or hoping people will ask me about it at book stores when I conveniently stand next to the manga aisle like a black hole of a person. I also really like that Mob Psycho jacket, I want to wear it when I give ghost tours.

As for nendos, Hinata was best girl of 2018 and I secretly already own her I just wanted everyone to know that. I need that Kokichi for the shrine on my desk, and the Megaman + Rabbit Ride Armor for my Megaman X display I keep in my room! Shigaraki and Reg are just cute… I need to represent the League of Villains and I personally think Reg is a little megaman adjacent, he can hang out with X.

I like pretty girls and Yu-Gi-Oh GX so I need Asuka Tenjoin and Kurisu, true ice queens. Shimarin and Kino can camp on my bookshelf, I love traveler characters they make me dream of adventure so I think that would be a good spot for them. That Kaworu is really beautiful, I need him to watch over humanity while I sleep.

I really like owning blu-rays and will just sit down and rewatch my favorite shows if you leave me alone for a couple of hours! Some of these are shows I really enjoyed that I didn’t even finish but I want to own them so I can lend them to friends to force them to finish them before I even get to. Why? I don’t know why I’m like that. Anyway I have a lot more blu-rays on this list but they don’t fit in the article, just trust me I’m a monster.

What's stopping you from getting them?

Andrea: I put things in my cart a couple of times a year and stare wistfully at them. I want them all, but I’m a minimalist when it comes to my home decor and deciding on the things I want is a really long process of staring at items, deciding where exactly they would go, if I need to downsize to make room for the item, etc. Buying things is really dizzying for me, I think I would own all of these things if I was a more organized person. I did some deliberating in my above paragraph though, so… I might not be so safe with my usual excuse of logistics holding me back. Let me get back to you.

When do you think you'll be able to?

Andrea: HAHAHA… Maybe… Maybe if I’m fast enough on Black Friday and decide to make my family heartfelt gifts so I can buy my anime merch… sorry family.
