The two new groups from Hypnosis Mic have each had a chance to show their stuff as trios... but how about solo? New singles will give each individual performer an opportunity to demonstrate their personal musical stylings, starting with Nagoya's Bad Ass Temple.
The forthcoming single, Bad Ass Temple Funky Sounds, will feature five tracks. Leading off will be the already-premiered title track, and a drama track will round out the collection. In the middle will be a trio of solo singles, which you can sample in the project's latest trailer:
First up is group leader Kuko Harai (CV Shouta Hayama), a devout but foul-mouthed Buddhist monk. His track, "Samgharama BAM," was composed by SOUL'd OUT lead Diggy-MO'. Next is glam rocker Jyushi Aimono (CV Yuki Sakakihara) with "Moonlight Shadow," composed by visual kei band Leetspeak monsters. Finally, lawyer Hitoya Amaguni (CV Eiji Takeuchi) performs "One and Two, and Law" by CHIVA (BUZZER BEATS) and KURO (Home Made Kazoku).
The single comes out in Japan this Wednesday, November 27.
