New Fate/stay night [Heaven's Feel] PV Descends into Darkness

The annual New Year's Eve raft of Fate announcements was topped off by the latest look at spring song, the third and final installment in the Fate/stay night [Heaven's Feel] film trilogy.

The films adapt the last route of the original Fate/stay night visual novel, with the preceding "Fate" and "Unlimited Blade Works" routes adapted into full-length anime series. Heaven's Feel centers on Sakura Matou, her mysterious illness, and its relation to the Holy Grail and the Grail War.

The PV also features a sample of Aimer's "Haru wa Yuku," the theme for the film. Aimer also recorded the Unlimited Blade Works theme "Brave Shine" and the preceding film's theme, "I beg you."

Fate/stay night [Heaven's Feel] III.spring song is due for release in Japan on March 28. The film is also scheduled for an overseas premiere this coming spring.
