Love Battles Escalate in Kaguya-sama Live-Action Film New Trailer

The official website for the forthcoming live-action film adaptation of Aka Akasaka's romantic comedy manga Kaguya-sama: Love Is War has posted a main poster visual and a new 90-second trailer. It was confirmed that the film's theme song "koi-wazurai" (Love-sickness) is performed by Johnny & Associates' boys idol group King & Prince.

22-year-old Sho Hirano, who is cast as Miyuki Shirogane in the film, is a member of the group since its launch in April 2015. He says, "I am so happy to sing the theme song! This film is about love romance battles between the two geniuses, as exactly with the title of the theme song 'koi-wazurai' (Love-sickness). It has become a wonderful song that expresses the love tactics' suspense and fuzziness with its melody and lyrics, and it also perfectly matches with the worldview of the film. I think it will truly make your heart ache! I hope you'll enjoy it~."

The Hayato Kawai (Nisekoi)-directed highly anticipated adaptation hits Japanese theaters on September 6, 2019.
