Ikki Unite is a multiplayer co-op take on Famicom/NES game Ikki, which launched in 1985 and coined the term kusoge, or "crap game." Despite the original's poor quality, SUNSOFT is hoping for a hit with the new version, which allows for roguelike action with up to 16 players. The closed beta will launch soon on Steam.

The other games are the fantastic NES platformers Gimmick! and Ufouria. 1992's Gimmick is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam this winter, and even has a soundtrack release planned for vinyl and cassette via Ship to Shore. 1991's Ufouria: The Saga, AKA Hebereke, has similar soundtrack plans and is coming to consoles in 2023.
