Romantic Killer Comedy Manga Gets Netflix Anime Adaptation on October 27

It is officially announced today that an anime adaptation of Wataru Momose's Romantic Killer comedy manga will start streaming on Netfilx worldwide on October 27, 2022. A 40-second teaser introducing its two main character voices is now streamed on YouTube.

The manga won the grand prize of the second edition of Shueisha's manga award "Jump Vertical Scroll Manga Award," and was serialized in the publisher's Shonen Jump + from 2019 to 2020. The slapstick romantic comedy centers on a high school girl, Kyoko Hoshino, who "never wants to fall in love," and a wizard, Lili, who suddenly appears to make Kyoko fall in love for a certain purpose.

Rie Takahashi (Megumin in KONOSUBA) is cast as Kyoko Hoshino, while Mikako Komatsu (Maki Zen'in in JUJUTSU KAISEN) plays Lili. And YURiKA (Little Witch Academia, BEASTARS) sings the theme song "ROMA☆KiRA."
