The music video for "Koi no Yukue" (Where does love go?), the ending theme song for the winter 2022 TV anime My Dress-Up Darling sung by Japanese cosplayer/TikToker Akari Akase, has generated a great reaction on the web since its release in January. Sony Music Labels confirmed on August 18 that the video had finally reached a milestone of 10 million views in eight months. As her major debut single, "Koi no Yukue" was released on February 23, 2022.

The video was posted on YouTube on January 9, soon after the anime's premiere in Japan, then was immediately viewed one million times in 14 days. In the video, Akase cosplays as the anime's main heroine Marin Kitagawa in school uniform, as well as Shizuku Kuroe and Black Lobelia, two game characters who appeared in the anime story.
She says, "Thank you for the 10 million views of the music video! I am very happy to know that my song and music video are still loved by people even after the anime has finished airing. Even if you have recently watched the Kisekoi anime, there are a lot of gestures and facial expressions that show Marin's true character while she is in costume and just being herself. So I hope you will pay attention to the pure and innocent lyrics while being excited like, 'Could it be...!'"
She also wrote on Twitter, "Thank you for 10 million views of the 'Koi no Yukue' MV! I am very happy that so many people have watched and listened to it! I hope you enjoy it and find the link with the anime and the feeling of love."
