Best Manga Nominees For 2022 Harvey Awards Led By Blue Lock, Chainsaw Man And Spy X Family

 

The Harvey Awards, a staple award of the US comics industry that recognizes the best work of the industry in multiple categories since 1988, has announced its nominees for the Best Manga category in the run up to the awards ceremony being held during New York Comic-Con this October. 2021 Best Manga winner Chainsaw Man by Tatsuki Fujimoto is nominated once again for the award, which is up against a slate of equally worthy nominees listed below:

  • Blood on the Tracks by Shuzo Oshimi, translated by Daniel Komen (Vertical Comics)
  • Blue Lock by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura, translated by Nate Derr (Kodansha Comics)
  • Cat + Gamer by Wataru Nadatani, translated by Zack Davisson (Dark Horse Comics)
  • Chainsaw Man by Tatsuki Fujimoto,  translated by Amanda Haley (VIZ Media)
  • Red Flowers by Yoshiharu Tsuge, translated by Ryan Holmberg (Drawn & Quarterly)
  • Spy X Family by Tatsuya Endo, translated by Casey Loe (VIZ Media)

Voting is currently underway for the awards until September 2 for qualified industry professionals, with the awards ceremony to be livestreamed during the weekend of New York Comic-Con, held this year from October 7-9 2022.
