TV Anime The Eminence in Shadow Announces Seven VAs for the Shichikage Members

 

 

The official website for the forthcoming TV anime adaptation of Daisuke Aizawa's isekai fantasy light novel series Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute! / The Eminence in Shadow has revealed the character visuals and voice cast for the seven members of Shichikage. 

 

Shichikage, literally means "The Seven Shadows," are the seven elite members who reign supreme in the shadowy organization Shadow Garden. They swear absolute loyalty to their ally, Shadow, and work in the shadows to accomplish his ambitions.

 

 

Alpha: Asami Seto (Raphtalia in The Rising of the Shield Hero)

- The first member of Shadowgarden and the leader of Shichikage. She is a blond-haired, blue-eyed elf and a perfect superhuman. She practically controls Shadowgarden.

 

 

 

Beta: Inori Minase (Rem in Re:ZERO − Starting Life in Another World)

- The second members of Shichikage. An elf with silvery-white hair and blue eyes. She is in awe of Shadow, and writes her own heroic tales about him, "Shadow-sama Senki," whenever she can.

 

 

 

Gamma: Suzuko Mimori (Umi Sonoda in Love Love!)

-The third member of Shichikage. She has a brilliant mind and can memorize and understand all of Shadow's words, but her athletic ability is lowest among the members. 

 

 

Delta: Fairouz Ai (Manatsu Natsuumi/Cure Summer in Tropical-Rouge! PreCure)

 - The fourth member of Shichikage. She has outstanding fighting ability among the seven members, but her fighting style is rough and destructive to both people and things.

 

 

Epsilon: Hisako Kanemoto (Ami Mizuno/Sailor Mercury in Sailor Moon Crystal)

- The fifth member of Shichikage. An elf with an outstanding talent for controlling magic power. On the other hand, she has a complex about her childish figure, and uses slime equipment to disguise her style.

 

 

 

Zeta: Ayaka Asai (Lisa Isaribi in Fire Force)

- The sixth member of Shichikage. A beastgirl in charge of covert operations. She is usually separated from the other members of the group, and flies around the world alone to conduct espionage activities. 

 

 

Eta: Reina Kondo (Suzuka Nagami in My Sister, My Writer)

- The seventh member of Shichikage. An elf in charge of research. She is a technically skilled and talented architect, but she always keeps her own pace, and once she falls asleep, she does not wake up easily. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The TV anime The Eminence in Shadow is set to premiere in Japan sometime in 2022. Nexus (Darwin's Game) works on anime production, with Kazuya Nakashishi (Darwin's Game character designer) directing.

Synopsis:

 

Even in his past life, Cid's dream wasn't to become a protagonist or a final boss. He'd rather lie low as a minor character until it's prime time to reveal he's a mastermind...or at least, do the next best thing-pretend to be one! And now that he's been reborn into another world, he's ready to set the perfect conditions to live out his dreams to the fullest. Armed with his overactive imagination, Cid jokingly recruits members to his organization and makes up a whole backstory about an evil cult that they need to take down. Well, as luck would have it, these imaginary adversaries turn out to be the real deal-and everyone knows the truth but him!
