The fourth season of the hit isekai anime series Overlord is set to hit Japanese TV screens this year, but we don't yet know that much about the next part of the franchise which is based on the light novels by Kugane Maruyama. This will change on March 12 with a special live stream for the next part the official Twitter account for Overlord announced yesterday.

The Overlord live stream is set to be held on YouTube on March 12 at 8 PM with voice actors Satoshi Hino (Ainz), Yumi Hara (Albedo), and Emiri Kato (Aura) set to make an appearance. The Tweet confirms that more information on Overlord IV will be released as well as the first full trailer for the series.

The cast return from the first three seasons of Overlord for the fourth TV anime, with the staff from Overlord III returning for Overlord IV at Studio Madhouse. The TV anime series is a continuation of the third season. A film based on the "Holy Kingdom Arc" is also in production. The third season of the Overlord TV anime premiered in July 2018 and ran until October 2018, with the fourth scheduled for some point in 2022.
