Shaman King Anime Posts "Osorezan Revoir" Arc Special Compilation Video Featuring Megumi Hayashibara's Song
The official Japanese website for the reboot TV anime based on Hiroyuki Takei's Shaman King manga has posted a six-minute special compilation video of its Osorezan Revoir arc. The arc depicting the encounter of Yo and Anna five years ago, and the parting of Yo's first guardian ghost, Matamune, was told in the anime's 30th to 33rd episodes aired in November 2021.
The song featured in the clip, "Osorezan Revoir" is sung by Megumi Hayashibara, who has voiced the anime's main heroine Anna Kyoyama since the first TV anime in 2001-2002. Using the poem in the original manga, it was originally composed by Kapitaro, who was a fan of the manga, and its video sung by Hatsune Miku was posted on Nico Nico Douga in 2010. In the following year, Hayashibara also posted her own performance video of the song on Nico Nico. The song has been officially included in her 14th original album "Fifty~Fifty" released in 2018.
