While all of the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster games were planned for launch in 2021, the final entry is going to take a little longer. Square Enix announced a change in timing for Final Fantasy VI, which will close out the remaster series when it arrives in February 2022.
According to the announcement, Square Enix is taking "the time necessary to apply final polish while finishing development on the game" in an effort to deliver "the best experience possible."
