Rent-A-Girlfriend Manga Author Celebrates Ruka's Birthday with Her Swimsuit Illustration

 

 

As fans know well, today, August 26 is the birthday of Ruka Sarashina, one of the main heroines in Reiji Miyajima's romantic comedy manga Rent-A-Girlfriend. To celebrate her birthday, the manga author said "Happy Birthday, Ruka!!" and posted a special illustration of her in a swimsuit eating a watermelon on his official Twitter account. Fans are now rejoicing and celebrating her birthday together with the hashtag #更科瑠夏生誕祭2021

 

The manga has been serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine since July 2017, and its latest 22nd tankobon volume, featuring none other than Ruka on its cover, was released in Japan on August 17, 2021. Its TV anime adaptation was sired for 12 episodes from July to September 2020. Thanks to its popularity, the second season has already been in the works for broadcast in 2022.

Synopsis:
