ARCANA PROJECT, Risa Aizawa (Dempagumi.inc) to Perform The aquatope on white sand 2nd Cour Theme Songs

The official website for the ongoing TV anime The aquatope on white sand announced the artists and song titles for its second cour's OP and ED theme songs on Ausgust 26.

Following the first cour's "Tayutae, Nanairo" (Sway to and fro, Seven Colors), the second cour's OP theme song "Tomedonai Shiosai ni Bokutachi wa Nani wo Utau darouka" (What will we sing to the ceaseless roar of the tide?) is performed by the five-member vocal unit ARCANA PROJECT.

As a vocal unit co-produced by by DEARSTAGE and Lantis, ARCANA PROJECT was formed in 2019. They are based on tarot cards as a motif for their activities, and their songs and live performances have names derived from tarot cards. Their first single song "Campanella Hibiku Sora de" was used as the OP theme for Monster Girl Doctor, then their second single song "Yume de Sekai o Kaeru Nara" was used as the ED theme for Redo of Healer. "Tomedonai Shiosai ni Bokutachi wa Nani wo Utau darouka" is set to be released as their fourth single on October 27, 2021.

Meanwhile, the second cour's ED theme song "Shingetsu no Da Capo" (Da Capo of the New Moon) is sung by Risa Aizawa, the leader of the ten-member Japanese idol group Dempagumi.inc. She is also known as the singing voice of Elza Forte in Aikatsu Stars! (2016-2018). The CD single of the song is set to be released on Nobember 10, 2021.

The courage given to me by anime songs makes me who I am today, so to be able to sing an anime theme song is like a dream come true. My mother's hometown is Okinawa, so I sang this song while picturing the beautiful scenery I saw when I was a child. This song has given me a lot of healing and hope, and I feel as if it has pushed me forward. I hope this song will be a guidepost for those who listen to it.

The original TV anime The aquatope on white sand produced by P.A.WORKS premiered in Japan on July 9, 2021, and has also been simulcast on Crunchyroll to its members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.

Synopsis:

Kukuru Misakino is a 18-year-old girl who works at an aquarium and she encounters a former idol who lost her place in Tokyo and escaped to Okinawa named Fuka Miyazawa.
