Attention, fantasy fans! We've got some news that bears repeating, because more information has been revealed about the ending theme for Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear, an upcoming TV anime based on the series of isekai fantasy light novels written by Kumanano and illustrated by 029 about a girl who finds herself transported into the world of her favorite VRMMORPG while wearing a cute but overpowered set of bear pajamas.
The ending theme, entitled "Anone." ("Look Here." or "I'll Tell You What."), is performed in-character by Yuna (CV: Maki Kawase). The song will be released as a single in Japan on October 21, 2020, along with the coupling song "Let's get started!". The cover for the CD single is pictured above.
The original Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear light novels are published in Japan by Shufu to Seikatsu-sha, and an English language version of the series is also being published by Seven Seas Entertainment, who describe the story as follows:
Fifteen-year-old Yuna prefers staying home and obsessively playing her favorite VRMMO to doing anything else, including going to school. When a strange new update gives her a one-of-a-kind bear outfit that comes with overpowered abilities, Yuna is torn: the outfit is unbearably cute, but too embarrassing to wear in-game. But then she suddenly finds herself transported to a world like the game, facing down monsters and magic for real, and the bear suit becomes the best weapon she has!
Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear is directed by Yuu Nobuta and features animation production by EMT Squared. The series will broadcast in Japan on AT-X, TOKYO MX, and BS11 beginning on October 07, 2020, with additional broadcasts to follow on Sun TV beginning on October 08, 2020, and on KBS Kyoto beginning on October 09, 2020.
