Just as lunch rolls around, the first course of details on the Sweet Reincarnation TV anime has been served up to the masses, announcing that the anime adaptation of Nozomu Koryu’s light novels will premiere in July 2023, revealing the main staff and cast of the series and releasing the series' first teaser trailer and visual.
Naoyuki Kuzuya (Bikini Warriors) will be directing Sweet Reincarnation at SynergySP with Studio Comet cooperating with the animation production. The series composition and screenplay will be written by Mitsutaka Hirota (EDENS ZERO) with character designs by Tomoko Miyakawa (Jewelpet) and music composed by Hiroshi Nakamura ("Deji" Meets Girl).
The lead cast of Sweet Reincarnation is as follows (character names not confirmed):
Ayumu Murase as Pastry Mille Morteln
Natsumi Fujiwara as Marcarullo
Maaya Uchida as Luminito
Kaede Hondo as Licorice Mille Huberlek

Sweet Reincarnation currently boasts more than 850,000 copies printed and sold between all 20 light novel volumes and eight volumes of the manga physically and digitally in Japan. J-Novel Club, which publishes the official English version of the Iida Seriko-written and Midori Tomizawa-illustrated manga adaptation of Nozomu Koryu’s original light novels, describes the first volume as such:
