Filmarks, one of the largest film, drama, and anime review services in Japan operated by Tsumiki Corporation, has announced the "2022 Anime Ranking" calculated based on its user rating for the anime series broadcasted or streamed in Japan in 2022 (from December 1, 2021 to November 30, 2022).
The ranking is for the works with at least 1,000 reviews posted as of December 15, 2022. The scores are based on each user's rating on a 5.0-point scale after viewing. Review submissions are limited to one per member per title.
The first-place winner in 2022 was Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2, which was also the No.1 title in the ranking for the first half of the year. On the other hand, SPY x FAMILY, which received 21,895 reviews, the most of any of the top 10 works, only ranked 10th, perhaps because of its too many reviews that have divided opinion.
