With tourism to Japan basically open to everyone from certain countries now, Studio Ghibli’s Ghibli Park revealed on its official website on Wednesday that the amusement park will be opening up ticket sales to international tourists. Until now, tickets were only available through Japanese websites or the tourism company JTB.
Like ticket sales in Japan, international tickets will go on sale on a certain date for a certain time period, being refreshed every month or so on a gradual basis. The first batch of tickets will be available on January 10 at 2 PM Japan time for March 15 to April 30 through Lawson Ticket.

International tickets are only confirmed for Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse at this time with the other two areas in Ghibli Park, Hill of Youth and Dondoko Forest, not available to be purchased. The price for international tickets will be the same as domestic tickets at 2,000 yen on weekdays and 2,500 yen on weekends.
