For the first time ever, the Super Mario and Pokémon franchises will be headlining the main Universal Studios Japan parade that goes around the New York area of the park, bringing the parade into “NO LIMIT!” territory. USJ released some first images of the floats as well as a trailer showing off the updated lineup.

Pokémon float:
The Mario float is based around the characters racing down Rainbow Road as they would during a game of Mario Kart. Meanwhile the Pokémon float as a dancing Pikachu on the main stage surrounded by other creatures as well as a moving Lugia and Ho-Oh that weave in and out of the crowd.

USJ’s updated “NO LIMIT!” parade begins on March 1, 2023, with tickets for the special viewing area of the parade going on sale on January 5.
