Based on the light novels by Tenichi and Suzunosuke, The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior is being directed by Norio Nitta (ODDTAXI assistant director) at studio OLM Team Yoshioka, with series composition by Deko Akao (The Case Study of Vanitas) and character designs by Hitomi Kono (ODDTAXI animation director).

 

The music is being composed by Hanae Nakamura, Tatsuhiko Saiki, Kanade Sakuma and Junko Nakajima, all of which have worked on My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!. Nakamura and Sakuma are collaborators on I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss, while Sakuma and Nakajima are also composing for the upcoming Endo and Kobayashi Live! The Latest on Tsundere Villainess Lieselotte anime.

Seven Seas Entertainment, who publishes the official English version of The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior, describes the series as such:

 

Pride Royal Ivy is only eight years old when she realizes that she’s been reincarnated, destined to become the future wicked queen and final boss of an otome game. She’s got it all in this new life: razor-sharp wit, boss-tier powers, and influence over the kingdom as crown princess. Determined to sow despair and destruction across the land, she… Wait, what kind of a rotten future is that?! The anime adaptation is currently scheduled to begin airing in July 2023.
