A brand new trailer for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Shinkoshoto's The Strongest Sage with the Weakest Crest light novel was released today revealing the artists behind the opening and ending theme, previewing the opening theme, as well as confirming for Japanese audiences that the series will begin in January 2022.
The opening theme song "Leap of faith" will be performed by fripside and can be heard in the above trailer, while the ending theme song "Day of Bright Sunshine" will be sung by voice actor Yuki Nakashima.
The Strongest Sage with the Weakest Crest TV anime begins in January 2022 with Crunchyroll streaming the series soon after. Crunchyroll describes the series as such:
His strength limited by the magical crest with which he was born, Mathias, the world’s most powerful sage, decides reincarnation is necessary to become the strongest of all. Upon his rebirth as a young boy, Mathias is thrilled to discover he’s been born with the optimal crest for magical combat on his first try!
