Maid Costume Band BAND-MAID Rocks Hard in Platinum End OP Theme Music Video

Following the ED theme "Koufukuron" by Yuu Miyashita, the five-memebr Japanese hard rock band BAND-MAID has posted a music video for "Sense," the OP theme for the fall 2021 TV anime Platinum End.

BAND-MAID was formed in 2013 and made their major debut from Nippon Crown on May 18, 2016, with their first album "Brand New MAID." Their intense hard rock sound, which is contrary to their maid costumes, has gained overwhelming support from fans and media around the world, and their official YouTube channel has attracted more than 100 million views to date. They recently appeared in the Netflix original film KATE as themselves, which started streaming worldwide in September of this year.

They changed their label to Pony Canyon and released their fourth album "Unseen World" on January 20, 2021. As their first single from Pony Canyon (eighth in total), "Sense" was released on October 27, 2021, then ranked eighth in Oricon's daily single charts on its first day.

The TV anime adaptation of Tsugumi Ohba (story) and Takeshi Obata's (arts) dark fantasy manga Platinum End premiered in Japan on October 7, 2021, and has also been available for the Crunchyroll members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
