The official website for the forthcoming original anime film Goodbye, DonGlees announced on October 27 that the film's theme song "Rock The World" is performed by the four-member Japanese rock band [Alexandros] and posted an 80-second new PV introducing the song.
[Alexandros] made their major debut from UNIVERSAL J in 2015 and provided the theme songs for the live-action film Bleach: The Soul Reaper Agent Arc in 2018 and Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway this year. As of this writing, it's not clear when "Rock The World" will be released.

The film's official website has also posted comments from the band's leader (vocalist/guitarist) Yohei Kawakami as below:
"Thoughts on being chosen as the theme song"
"We were honored. Since the director Ishizuka and I had passed through similar times, we were able to empathize immediately with what she was trying to portray. After that, she sent us several versions of the film during the production process, and each time we added changes to the song. We were able to challenge the production with a sense of experiencing an adventure together, just like the main characters in the story. I really appreciate."
"Impression of the film"
"It was a film that made me want to cherish the future. You only live once. Although we live in a time of uncertainty, there are scenes and lines that strongly inspire us to not give up and to make our desires come true, and I was encouraged during the making of this song. Personally, I remember the days when I was excited to go to a fireworks display during summer vacation and see the girl I liked. I wish I could go back to those days (laughs)."
"Message to those who are looking forward to the release"
"I just want you to see it! Please look forward to it!"
