Voice actress Kotori Koiwai experiments with binaural sound design via kotoneiro, her personal audio production company. The site produces ASMR audio downloads with performances by celebrity voice actresses and VTubers, including Koiwai herself. This summer, she'll be combining her work on kotoneiro with one of her most famous roles: Renge from Non Non Biyori.
The upcoming audio drama, simply titled Non Non Biyori ~Renge Miyauchi~, stars and is written by Koiwai. Using 3D audio design, it will take the listener on a tour around the fictional village of Asahigaoka. Series character designer Mai Otsuka supplies the teaser image (seen above), and Studio Shamrock (The Girl in Twilight) will handle sound design.
Details are available on the audio's special page. For now, we know that it's scheduled for a summer 2021 release, and the download will cost 2,200 yen.
