Just when you thought things couldn’t get more heated in the anime space, the cast and staff for the adaptation of Daisuke Hiyama’s ecchi harem comedy fantasy manga, Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time, were conjured up on February 25 and … well ... let’s just say, the TV anime will be getting a little steamy.
Tatsumi, who is mostly known for directing hentai, will be looking after the direction of the series at Wolfs Bain, a fairly new studio who did outsourcing work on the short ecchi anime Crossing Time, and Demon Lord, Retry! The screenplay is written by Nora Mouri (Kiitaro's yokai picture diary) with the characters are designed by Hentai director Rui Ishike.
Alongside the staff, the cast was announced with the full character designs.
Hiro Shimono (Atsushi Kawase in My Roommate is a Cat) as Peter Grill
Kentaro Asami (Katch in Long Way North Japanese Dub) as Tim Robinson
Yui Ninomiya (Ema Hinata in Aikatsu Friends!) as Riviera Sanctus
Ayana Taketatsu (Nino Nakano in The Quintassenal Quintuplets) as Mimi Alpacas
Hibiku Yamamura (Kirara Amanogawa/Cure Twinkle in Pretty Cure!) as Lisa Alpacas

Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time will premiere on Tokyo MX and other TV stations in Japan from July 2020. Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed the manga series in North America and describes the series as:
Upon winning a fighting tournament and being crowned the world’s strongest warrior, Peter Grill discovers a downside to his newfound fame. Women of all species, from ogres to elves, are scrambling over each other for his seed to ensure they have the strongest babies possible. Poor Peter just wants to settle down with his lovey-dovey fiancée, but he’ll have to outmatch, outwit, and outrun a harem of very determined monster girls to do so!
