Two More Players Join the Game for the Infinite Dendrogram TV Anime

Two more cast members have been announced for Infinite Dendrogram, an upcoming TV anime based on the series of virtual reality MMORPG light novels written by Sakon Kaidou and illustrated by Taiki about a new player experiencing a fully immersive virtual world for the first time. The new cast members include:

 

A character visual of Juliet, a VR MMORPG player whose avatar appears as a grey-haired, red-eyed young woman in elegant black clothing from the upcoming Infinite Dendrogram TV anime.

 

Yūki Kuwahara as Juliet.

 

A character visual of Chelsea, a VR MMORPG player whose avatar appears as a blonde-haired, blue-eyed young woman in a pirate outfit from the upcoming Infinite Dendrogram TV anime.

 

And Maaya Uchida as Chelsea.

 

 

The original Infinite Dendrogram light novels are published in Japan by Hobby Japan under their HJ Bunko imprint, and an English language version is also available from J-Novel Club, who describe the story of Infinite Dendrogram as follows:

 

In the year 2043, Infinite Dendrogram, the world's first successful full-dive VRMMO was released. In addition to its ability to perfectly simulate the five senses, along with its many other amazing features, the game promised to offer players a world full of infinite possibilities. Nearly two years later, soon-to-be college freshman, Reiji Mukudori, is finally able to buy a copy of the game and start playing. With some help from his experienced older brother, Shu, and his partner Embryo, Reiji embarks on an adventure into the world of Infinite Dendrogram. Just what will he discover and encounter in this game world known for its incredible realism and infinite possibilities?

 

Ray Starling and Nemesis explore the virtual world of Infinite Dendrogram.

 

The Infinite Dendrogram TV anime is directed by Tomoki Kobayashi and features animation production by NAS. The series will broadcast in Japan on AT-X, Tokyo MX, BS11, and Sun TV beginning on January 09, 2020.
