For a limited time, you can live among heroes!
Bandai is preparing to release TIGER & BUNNY V Residence Sternbild, a service that combines real-world goods and an exclusive mobile app that will let you visit the setting of the popular superhero anime. The idea was developed as part of an internal program at the company, with applications opening next month.
Starting January 15, the program will consist of three parts: a digital service, member benefits, and limited-edition goods. The first comes in the form of an app, letting you become a Sternbild citizen and wander the city. Keep an eye out for Kotetsu and Barnaby!
Members will also receive physical goods, including documentation of their Sternbild citizenship. About a month into the program, members will start receiving Sternbild MaG, a publication penned by one of the series's screenwriters. Perusing the mag will tell you what happened to our heroes outside the events of the series.
Members will also have access to limited-edition goods on the Premium Bandai shop, available only to Sternbild "residents." The goods previewed so far include a pair of drinking glasses and an enamel pin:
Registrations for the service will be open from January 15 to February 29, and the service itself will run from January 15 to March 15. Memberships are 6,050 yen apiece with tax (price does not include limited-edition Premium Bandai goods).
