The original The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior light novels are written by Tenichi, illustrated by Suzunosuke, and published in Japan by Ichijinsha under their Iris NEO imprint. An English language version is also available from Seven Seas Entertainment, who describe the story of the series as follows:
