Back in 2019, the first ever Seiyu Kohaku Uta Gassen was held. The competition-style concert separates anime theme singers of all ages into two teams, challenging them to perform different songs. Whether the Red or White team wins, the real winners are the audience, who get to hear anison luminaries give their all onstage.
This year, the event is acknowledging several huge anime celebrating anniversaries by welcoming guest singers for a special segment. Separate from the competition will be a "corner" of themes from beloved anime series and franchises, performed by singers and voice actors from the original shows!
