FEATURE: Tsukasa is the Only Character in TONIKAWA with a Realistic View of Weddings

Weddings are a very important day in a couple’s lives, but can also be quite the extravagant event. From gathering friends and family to booking a suitable venue, there’s a lot of work that goes into this potentially once-in-a-lifetime occurrence. As we’ve seen in TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You thus far, Nasa and Tsukasa have managed to circumvent having a wedding due to the quick nature in which the two of them got married. However, new discussions about having a wedding have been brought to the forefront and a lot of people’s opinions have been given light. Only one of these folks has a realistic idea of what a wedding entails though, and that’s Tsukasa.   For the most part, we all have a pretty basic idea of what goes into making a wedding such an event. You’ve got to book venues, get the right attire, hire catering, send out a bunch of invitations, find the right decorations and so many other additions that make it a wonderful time for the bride and groom.   Since debuting under a month ago in most major markets, The Super Mario Bros. Movie has been a Giant Mushroom-sized hit with audiences. So much so that Variety is reporting that Universal, the film’s distributor, is certain in its projections that the film will pass US$1 billion worldwide by the end of the weekend .   Variety has outlined that the domestic, international split for the Nintendo-produced flick will be $487.5 million in North America and $533 million internationally, making it the first film of the 2023 calendar year to do so in the international space and the fifth film since COVID-19 began.    This projection comes off the heels of The Super Mario Bros. Movie finally premiering in Japan on April 28, just ahead of the Golden Week holidays in the country. While official box office results won’t be in for a few more days, current estimates show Mario doing reasonably well in his home country – one of the standouts against a poor showing for Hol...
