The official website for The Idolm@ster franchise announced on January 18 that Shio Kisui was newly cast as Yuika Mitsumine in The Idolm@ster Shiny Colors game series. Her character voices have been already revealed on the game's official site. As reported, the original voice cast of Yuika Mitsumine, Runa Narumi announced her retirement from the entertainment business due to her health issues last December.
Kisui belongs to BLACK SHIP, an agency founded by voice actor Shinnosuke Tachibana and Jun Fukuyama, and is known for her portrayals as Eriko Miura in the Elegant Yokai Apartment Life TV anime and Spotted Hyena in the Kemono Friends games.
Ahead of the announcement, she opened her official Twitter and Instagram account. She wrote on Twitter, "Dear all. Hello, I am Shio Kisui. I will be playing the role of Yuika Mitsumine in 'The Idolm@ster Shiny Colors.' I'll do my best, to the best of my ability. I would appreciate your support!"
