Anly Uses Sign Language in BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS 19th ED Theme MV to Convey Her Message

The official YouTube channel for Japanese singer-songwriter Anly has started streaming a full music video for her 10th single song "VOLTAGE," which has been used as the 19th ED theme for the TV anime BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS since its 231st episode aired in Japan on January 9, 2022.

The message included in the song is her wish to "raise the voltage of the whole world," and she is doing sign language in the clip because she wants to reach as many people as possible. The sign language was created with HANDSIGN, a dance and sign language performance group that has been friends with Anly for a long time, and Kaori Okamoto, a deaf sign language supervisor. Anly writes on Twitter, "These sign language were created with my intentions behind the lyrics, such as metaphorical expressions. Every time I delivered the meaning, there was a thought I could discover myself!"

The song was digitally released first on January 23, and its CD single will be available on February 16. She previously sang the 20th OP theme song "Karano Kokoro" for Naruto Shippuden in 2017, and the single also includes the "Matt Cab & MATZ Remix" version of the song.
